Toni Sless: Toni is an independent consultant, who works with businesses to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses and enablers that facilitate fraud; developing policies and processes; road maps and technology enhancements to combat threats as well as providing training and awareness on the insider and cyber fraud threat, raising awareness of human vulnerabilities.

Toni co-founded The Risk Avengers, collaborating with industry peers in the cyber security and social engineering arenas, incorporating fraud prevention and awareness; cyber security; social engineering; penetration testing; incident management and physical security.

She is also the founder and Chairwoman of the Fraud Women’s Network, which was launched in March 2007, listed as one of the Awesome 100 Networks and shortlisted as Inter-Sector Network of the Year by Inclusive Networks. In her spare time, she mentors many women in various disciplines including cyber security and fraud prevention and continues to drive the Fraud Women’s Network to support women working in the arena.

Mark Ward: Mark is an ex-military man and has a successful career spanning over 30 years.  Since 2002 Mark has operated as an independent fraud, risk and security consultant under the banner of Predator IT. Mark has gained a wealth of experience from both mid, senior and executive management standpoints, covering many different activities related to fraud, risk and security.  He is a highly experienced and pragmatic consultant and is expert in the fields of Information / Cyber and Operational Risk Management, IT Security, Fraud, Cyber/e-Crime, Incident/Crisis Management, Physical Security and Intelligence Management. Mark is currently the CISO for Vanquis Bank.  He has worked across many sectors including financial services, insurance, telecoms and utilities, providing him with a rare an unique set of skills and experience.

Toni will talk about her achievements, obstacles encountered, how she has overcome them and difficulties associated with being a woman in her profession. 

Looking at it from a very different perspective, Mark will talk about the challenges he faces when hiring and what he looks for in candidates (from junior to senior level in the security industry).

You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences too!

The cost? A mere £35.00 (inclusive of VAT) to FWN Members which includes bubbles on arrival, a fabulous 3 course dinner, wine, soft drinks and coffee and, of course, the opportunity to meet with your peers and listen to and speak with our special guests.

The evening will commence with reception drinks at 18.00 hours, dinner at 19.00 and will finish around 22.00 hours.
