Speaker Bios: 

Linda Porter, Senior Investigations Manager Corporate Security, Vodafone:  Linda Porter is an experienced public and private sector fraud investigations specialist currently employed by Vodafone UK as Senior Investigations & Intelligence Manager with accountability for investigating and reduction of internal and external fraud as it affects the company; prior to Vodafone Linda was employed as Director of Fraud at UBS Wealth Management and before that Legal & General Assurance Society capacity as Group Fraud Director.  Previous experience includes 12 years in UK policing focussed on serious & organised crime at national and international level, with specialist roles in the National Criminal Intelligence Agency and Europol before entering the private sector in 2002.  

Ross Webster, Intelligence Manager, Financial Fraud Action (FFA UK) Intelligence Unit, known as FFB:  Ross leads and manages a team of Fraud Intelligence Professionals.  The team manage day to day intelligence and providing the payment, card and retail banking industries with a professional and central intelligence function which interfaces with a wide range of stakeholders including banks, card companies, law enforcement agencies and other public and private sectors.  Ross has been a long serving member of the Intelligence Unit and is the industry expert of FFA UK's Fraud Intelligence Sharing System, the FFA UK Intelligence Data Base.

The FFB acts as the industry hub in the management of data breaches containing PII data.  FFB has been at the centre of triage for high profiles breaches such as Morrison's; Carphone Warehouse; TalkTalk and Touchnote.  It also operates the alerts service for industry common points of compromise (CPP).
